Consult the following sections to learn more about our company's Shipping Policies.

Please note you can request an exceptional shipment anytime. However, there may be additional fees incurred for such requests in addition to your standard shipping fees.

1. Consolidation vs One Shipment per Purchase Order

Consolidation involves grouping several orders into a single shipment, typically to minimize shipping costs. Be careful! For some customers, the fact that the contents of various orders together end up in a single shipment can complicate the receiving of the shipment.

One shipment per purchase order is when a single order is shipped in and of itself, separate of any other order.

For example, if we have items in stock for 3 different orders for the same customer, and this customer prefers consolidation, we will ship said items in a single shipment, while if the customer prefers one shipment per purchase order, we will ship the same items in 3 distinct shipments.

By default, your account is set to one shipment per purchase order and will remain until otherwise requested.

2. Monetary Threshold to Justify a Shipment

The method regarding a monetary threshold to justify a shipment offers a strategic approach based on the value of the items to be shipped to trigger a shipment. When the total value of the items in stock reaches the minimum threshold, a shipment it triggered. You can identify the monetary threshold that best suits your company's needs.

This method depends on your chosen preference between consolidation vs one shipment per purchase order (see section 1).

  • Monetary Threshold & Consolidation

When applied with consolidation, the monetary threshold considers the value of items in stock for all open orders combined. Note that if all the items of all open orders are in stock, a shipment will be triggered regardless of the total value of the items.

  • Monetary Threshold & One Shipment per Purchase Order

When applied with one shipment per open order, the monetary threshold considers the value of items in stock for each open order individually. Note that if all the items of a given order are in stock, a shipment will be triggered regardless of the total value of the items.

By default, your account's threshold is set to 250$.

3. One or Numerous Days of the Week for Shipments

Our delivery method based on the days of the week offer a personalized approach allowing to specify one or more days of the week for a shipment. For this method, the deadline to send your purchase order is the previous day at noon to make sure this order is part of the shipment of a given day.

This method can be combined with a monetary threshold to justify a shipment (see section 2). In this case, the threshold would need to be met for a shipment to be triggered on a specified day of the week for shipments.

By default, your account is set to ship any weekday, if the monetary threshold of 250$ is met.

4. Number of Daily Shipments

The regulation method of number of daily shipments specifies if you would be interested of receiving more than one shipment per day in the event where some more inventory would arrive in stock during the day.

This option depends on your preference between consolidation vs one shipment per purchase order (see section 1).

  • One Shipment per Day & Consolidation

If you prefer one shipment per day and opt for consolidation, then you could expect a maximum of one shipment per day. In the event where more items arrive in stock while an expedition is already in process, those items would be shipped at the next opportunity.

  • One Shipment per Day & One Shipment per Purchase Order

If you prefer one shipment per day and opt for one shipment per purchase order, you can expect a maximum number of shipments in a single day to be equal to the number of current open orders you have. In the event where more items arrive in stock for an order already in the shipment process, those latest items would be shipped at the next opportunity.

  • Multiple Shipments per Day (with or without consolidation)

Whether you opt for consolidation or rather for one shipment per open order, if you are open to multiple shipments per day, you could technically receive numerous packages for a single order on a given day. Indeed, if more items arrive in stock while a shipment is in process, a new shipment will be triggered for these new items.

Companies have a maximum of 45 days to report short shipment.
